In Aperture latest issue we find an interesting interview with Gregory Crewdson on one of his more recent projects “Beneath the roses”. The article handles the way he works behind the scene and how he produces his photograps.

Gregory Crewdson is often compared with other artists like Jeff Wall, David Lynch and Stieven Spielberg. The thing I like the most about his pictures is the way he uses the light on very theatrical way.

Hmm, I guess I like the way he uses light in open spaces, but in more closed ones I think it is a bit too clean. Thanx for posting about him anyway!
